Adaptive Physical Education Services
The Adaptive Physical Education (APE) Specialist provides direct instruction to enable an orthopedically handicapped or similarly impaired child to participate in physical education activities with their classmates. The APE specialist also provides consultative services to teachers to ensure an appropriate and comprehensive physical education program for special needs students.
