Educational Resources & Services

A curriculum focused collection of video tapes, CD-ROMS, DVDs, interactive kits, models, read-alongs, audio cassettes, a Cable in the Classroom video library, and additional multimedia resources for classroom use, plus our Resource Center, die-cut machines and dies, art prints, and library preview books are available on a fee-for-service basis.

The Educational Resources & Services (ERS) provides an on-line catalog and ordering system at Assistance is provided for teachers to coordinate instructional media to meet specific curriculum needs. Site in-service on technology and Internet use and integration into the classroom and curriculum is available on request.

Displays of textbooks being considered for adoption in subject content areas are available to Madera County educators at neighboring county offices.  The Fresno and Merced County Offices of Education are designated as the Learning Resource Display Centers for our county. Madera COE is happy to make arrangements for site staffs or individual teachers to preview materials in Fresno or Merced.

Interactive video sessions on educational topics offered by the California Department of Education and other sources are available on request from districts. Teleconferences are provided for technical assistance. Wireless cable educational broadcasting is provided to sites able to receive the signal on METV Channel 23.
